Soi Dog Foundation is a non-profit organisation for the welfare of stray dogs and cats in Asia. Its headquarters are in Thailand, and it is a legally registered non-profit organisation in the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, France, Switzerland, and the Netherlands. Soi Dog’s primary goal is to care for homeless and abused cat and dogs. It was established by British couple John and Gill Dalley, with the help of Margot Homburg Park, in Phuket in 2003.
The Foundation has saved thousands of dogs and cats from illegal trades, particularly the meat trade with pertains in several Asian countries, and works to reduce and manage free roaming dog and cat populations through sterilisation and vaccination. Soi Dog run the largest spay/neuter programme in Asia and have recently sterilised their one-millionth dog since the organisation was founded 20 years ago. This incredible achievement provides a humane and sustainable solution to the number of stray animals living in Asia, meaning less dogs and cats live lives of abuse, distress and neglect.
On 13 February 2017, the Foundation lost their heroic leader and co-founder, Gill Dalley. Gill was the heart and soul of Soi Dog. Despite the many challenges that life presented to Gill, she always put the needs of homeless animals first. Each year in Asia, millions of dogs and cats are born into a life of suffering. In 2003, Gill and her husband John began working to tackle this terrible injustice. Since then, Soi Dog has made tremendous progress. And whilst millions of lives have been saved, there is still much work to do.
Soi Dog is only where they are today – helping more dogs and cats than any other organisation in the world – because of people like you. None of it is possible without your support. And your support is needed, now more than ever. With no government funding, Soi Dog Foundation operates solely on donations from compassionate animal lovers like you. Soi Dog Foundation has a maximum 4-star rating with Charity Navigator, the world’s largest and most utilised independent non-profit evaluator.

The sanctuary was founded by Caroline Cardona in 2018 to care for a variety of animals that needed extra love. Many of the animals have physical or psychological problems that require special attention and expertise
Greenhills Sanctuary is a small non-profit charity who do not breed or otherwise financially benefit from the products of any of their animals and focus their energy on meeting their needs. The sanctuary survives exclusively on donations and sponsorships.
Isle of Man Cat Charity
We provide a safe and peaceful haven for unwanted, disabled and traumatised cats and rely solely on the generosity of the public. If you don’t like old age or imperfections this is not the place for you.
We allow all our elderly residents to live their days out in comfortable surroundings. We believe all the cats we receive need compassion, understanding and TLC but, most of all, the ability to run free. Therefore, the sanctuary consists of several spacious buildings set on seven acres of land, where the cats can roam freely. This also includes a luxury home to the rear of the sanctuary for our feral community, where they too can roam freely and are not forced to mix with humans if they do not wish to.
